Public Notice

Oroville’s Adopt-A-Park Program is a public service program to beautify our city parks and to create and promote neighborhood and community involvement. The AAP (Adopt-A-Park) program encourages volunteers, with the assistance of the City of Oroville and The Oroville Initiative (TOI), to adopt a park in Oroville for regular maintenance and cleanups.

Volunteers identify safety hazards and freely communicate other issues associated with their designated park. The city provides the necessary equipment for the cleanups and a sign at the chosen site recognizing the volunteer group. The program is suitable for community groups, businesses, churches, scouts, students, individual citizens, etc.
