Notice of Updates to Oroville Comprehensive Plan and Critical Areas Regulations
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Oroville Planning Commission has proposed amendments to update the Growth Management Element and Maps of the Oroville Comprehensive Plan and to Chapter 18.02 Official Controls (Critical Areas Regulations) of the Oroville Municipal Code. The City is required by the Growth Management Act to periodically update mandated critical areas regulations in order to maintain eligibility for state grant and low interest loan programs. The proposed amendments will be the subject of a public hearing before the Planning Commission prior to a recommendation to council and submittal to the Department of Commerce for the required 60-day public review. Action to adopt any amendments will not be done until Council Public Hearing is held at the end of the required review process. This request provides an opportunity for an early review and comment process to allow the Planning Commission to modify the draft amendments prior to sending on to the City Council.
