The City Clerk’s Office Staff is usually the first contact a customer encounters. Staff members answer questions, directing them to other departments when necessary. Water, sewer, and garbage utilities are billed and collected by the clerk’s office staff along with dog tags, park use applications, boat launch annual permits, and various other permitting.

The City Clerk’s Office Staff is responsible to assist the Mayor, Council, City Staff, and various committees, commissions, and boards. 

The City Clerk’s Office Staff is also responsible for the financial management of the City budget development and monitoring, management of the City’s cash, investments, and debt and general ledger accounting, audit coordination, cash receipting, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable and purchasing.
